Love is Love

I see a lot of people abusing the verse that says God is love. God’s love left the unimaginable glory of heaven in order to be born a human, live as a human and suffer as a human. He died on the cross literally bearing the sins of the world on his being. He was buried in the earth with the worms and darkness. And he rose again defeating death, overcoming sin, and victorious over the devil, and to reign as the glorious Risen king who judges the world.

The next time you see the phrase, “love is love,” ask what it means in light of the ultimate definition, God is Love.
